Food Web and Energy Flow (simple)

About this illustration

A colourful, cartoon-style food web and energy flow diagram for primary/middle school. It shows five trophic levels arranged vertically: Decomposers (Fungi, Earthworms) at the bottom, Producers (Grass, Shrubs, Wildflowers), Primary Consumers (Rabbit, Mouse, Grasshopper, Caterpillar), Secondary Consumers (Fox, Snake, Small Birds), and Tertiary Consumer (Hawk) at the top. The Sun with a photosynthesis arrow points to the producer level. Arrows show energy flow upward through the web. Decomposers have arrows pointing up to producers, indicating nutrient recycling.
