About this illustration
A structured fraction models chart showing five unit fractions (1/2, 1/3, 1/4, 1/6, 1/8) each represented across three model types: Area Model (circle and rectangle), Set Model (grouped objects with one circled), and Number Line. Each column is colour-coded and labelled with its fraction. Arrows connect the three model types vertically to show equivalence. The set models use apples, stars, flowers, circles, and hearts respectively.
