Introducing Yourself: 'Ko ... ahau'

'Ko' means 'I am' or 'My name is' Add your name in the middle End with 'ahau' (ah-how) Example: 'Ko Emma ahau' = 'I am Emma'

Practice Introductions

Partner A: 'Kia ora!' Partner B: 'Kia ora!' Partner A: 'Ko [your name] ahau' Partner B: 'Ko [your name] ahau' Switch partners and try again!
