What is a Paragraph? - He aha te raina?
Topic Sentence (Raina kaupapa) - introduces the main idea Detail Sentences (Ngā raina taipitopito) - give more information Concluding Sentence (Raina whakamutunga) - wraps up the idea Example: He manu ātaahua te kererū. He nui hoki ia, ā he kiri kiri tōna. He kai rākau hoki ia. He manu tino pai te kererū.
