How to Ask Good Survey Questions
Make questions clear and simple Ask about one thing at a time Give people choices to pick from Example: 'What is your favourite fruit: apple, banana, or orange?'

Partner Practice Time
Work with your assigned partner Take turns asking survey questions Practice recording answers with tally marks Questions: Favourite fruit, number of siblings, favourite colour
Class Data Collection
Form groups of 4-5 students Move around the room to survey other groups Record all responses on your group sheet Remember: Ask clearly, listen carefully, record accurately
Sharing Our Discoveries
Each group shares one interesting finding What did you learn about our class? How did collecting data help us understand each other? Remember: Accurate recording helps us answer questions properly
